How do you start Crafting?

How would I get into such a thing? I got a fishing rod off of a goblin, so that's a possibility, and I think that leather crafting would be fun. How would I start doing those?

Best way would be to check out the wiki (the link should be in the stickied thread with important info, either here or in the important info section). You can also check, allakazahm. They have a good guide too. I'm not to familiar with the crafting so other than that advice I'll bow out for someone who knows more about that ^.^
